Hello!
Welcome to TriCALA, your Community Adult Learning Association.
Purpose Statement
Our vision is to empower adults in the tri-region to realize their full potential through lifelong learning. We envision a society where individuals of all backgrounds have access to educational opportunities that enable personal growth, career advancement, and community engagement. We strive to foster a culture of continuous learning and skills development, equipping adults with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to thrive in an ever-changing world. By promoting inclusive and accessible learning environments, we aim to create a society where every adult has the opportunity to acquire new skills, expand their horizons, and contribute meaningfully to their communities. Together, we can inspire a lifelong love for learning, transform lives, and build a stronger, more resilient community.

Tri-Community Adult Learning Association (TriCALA) respectfully acknowledges that we work, live, and play on Treaty 6 territory, which is the traditional and ancestral meeting ground, gathering place, and travelling route of many First Nation, Métis and Inuit people, including our immediate neighbours from Alexander Cree Nation, Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation, Enoch Cree Nation and Paul First Nation, whose presence continues to enrich our vibrant community.
We are committed to learning more about the rich histories and diverse cultures of the Indigenous communities of this region. We strive to support reconciliation efforts by actively educating ourselves and others about the ongoing impacts of colonization and doing our best to create an inclusive learning space.
We are grateful for the land, knowledge, and culture that Indigenous people share with us as we walk together towards reconciliation.
These programs have been made possible by funding from The Government of Canada, Alberta Advanced Education, the City of Spruce Grove, Town of Stony Plain, Parkland County and CIRA.
And of course a thank you to our favorite partners in literacy, our local libraries!
