Adult Education Credential (CAEC/GED)

Class Description
CAEC has replaced the GED in Canada. CAEC is for adults who do not have a high school diploma and who want access to better jobs and/or training opportunities. This course covers reading and writing, math, science, and social studies and will help prepare you for the 5 CAEC exams. Classes are held 2 times per week for 16 weeks, a total of 64 in-class hours. Learners are expected to study outside of class as well. Virtual attendance is possible for those who live in rural communities. Reading: February 3 - February 19 Social Studies: February 24 - March 12 Writing: March 17 - April 2 Science: April 7 - April 23 Math: April 28 - May 21 Save money when you register in all 5. Prerequisite: Free assessment at TriCALA *Bursaries and payment plans may be available. Please talk to TriCALA staff.
Cancellation Policy
TriCALA reserves the right to cancel any class. A full refund will be issued for all cancelled classes. If you need to withdraw, please call TriCALA at least 7 days before the start date for a full refund. Refunds are not issued for non-attendance.
