Spill the Tea Learning Series

Class Description
Join us for the first of our Spill the Tea series! This is perfect for anyone who is curious to learn more about the world around us. Each event features a fascinating expert who shares their knowledge and excitement. Additional speakers will be highlighted in our 2026 Winter/Spring Program Guide. All proceeds support our Learner Bursary Program, which helps local adult foundational learners access essential educational supports. A huge thanks to our valued partners for this program, The Cove Tea Company and Stony Plain Public Library. Each ticket includes a brewed tea. October Speaker: Rebecca Mbanyele, Professional Archivist Rebecca holds a Masters degree in Heritage Studies and is currently working on a second dual Masters degree in Arts and Library and Information Studies degree (MA/MAIS). Rebecca will discuss her wide range of experiences working with the documentary heritage (records of historical value) in Zimbabwe, Southern Africa and here in the Tri-Region.
